Bio:

Jack Hessel is a researcher at Anthropic. Previously, he was a postdoc+research scientist at the Allen Institute for AI, was on the founding team of Samaya AI, and before that, earned a PhD from Cornell. His work, which spans language processing, machine learning, and computer vision, has been recognized with several awards, including ACL 2023 best paper and EMNLP 2023 outstanding paper.
